El Fuerte, Sinaloa, México
The El Fuerte, Sinaloa area is one of Mexico’s best dove
habituates. It is the transition area between the foot hills of
the Sierra Madres and the irrigated coastal plain. The doves like
this place so well that they don't migrate as they do in other areas.
They are here all year.
The season opens in the last part of October and runs until the
end of February.We have permission to hunt on more than fifty thousand
acres with many good hunting spots.
$1,495 for 3 days of hunting (6 hunts) and a 4 night stay.
This includes meals, all the beer and margaritas that you want,
fine rooms, and transportation from & to the Los Mochis International
Airport. Shotgun shells, tips, and airfare are not included.
Lodging is in the Hotel Montesclaros. This hotel was built in 1997
as a hunting and fishing lodge. There are 10 rooms with 2 double
beds. Clementina López (Clemen) is the owner. She is a gracious
hostess and an excellent cook. She is accustomed to having sportsmen
from the United Sates as guests.
